Considering hot topic of China-US trade friction recently, Guo Jianmiao, the secretary of the Party branch of the company, introduced and analyzed the China-US trade friction from its historical root, background, measures China has taken, advantages and disadvantages in a simple and interesting way, represented his view on actions the US government taken after World War I and World War II respectively and their unrecoverable impacts to the whole world.
After fast development over the recent years, China has become the second economy in the world. As its trade surplus with USA keeps growing, trade frictions between the two countries are inevitable. The core reason is processing trade and high-tech products of China. In 2016, import and export of China with USA through processing trade represented one third of the total volume of the year. In the same year, high-tech products China exported to USA mainly include key technologies such as smart products and basic communication networks, while products USA exported to China mainly were agricultural by-products. This is one of the key reasons of this trade unbalance.
As a professional mould producer aiming to go global, Fangzheng will encounter risks and challenges when entering foreign new markets. Thus it’s essential for the company to deal with trade friction properly. At the end of the meeting, Xie Changfu, the chief secretary of the Party assigned to Fangzheng emphasized that as economic globalization and free trade are trends of the world, young Party members should deeply understand the new era and new thoughts, undertake new mission with firm belief. For this purpose, they should read more books, think deeply and make contribution to the realizing of the goals set at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
